These tile pictures are attached to the fassade of the Papst-Leo-Hause (Pope-Leo-House) in Essen-Ffrintrop near the entrance of the chapel of the old people`s home. They show a portrait of Nikolaus Groß in connection with a seal of the Herz Jesu-parish. This seal combines a heart and a cross and is based on a drawing used by the French missionary and Africa pioneer Charles de Foucauld.
Both tiles were painted by the painter Michelbringk.
